Our Story
Cornerstone & Luthien Advisory Ltd (CLA) was registered in Rwanda through RDB in August 2016 and has been offering tuition for professional courses in CFA, CPAR, CPA-K, CIFA, ACCA and CAT. CLA has been awarded accreditation by KASNEB to offer, CIFA and CPAK courses.
CLA has previously prepared candidates for CFA examinations in Rwanda, mainly drawn from the private sector and also from the National Bank of Rwanda. Additionally CLA has been accredited by both the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Suppliers Management (UK) and also Chartered Institute of Investment and Securities Ltd (CISI), UK.
Regionally, we have accreditation with the Institute of Certified Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR) and the Kenya Secretaries and Accountants Board (KASNEB).
CLA is an authorized Computer Based Exam Center since March 2017. In September 2018, CLA was granted the accreditation by Kenya Institute of Supply Management (KISM) to train Associate in Supply Profession (ASP-K) and Certified Procurement and Supply Profession of Kenya (CPSP-K) and in October the same year CLA was awarded the Tuition Solutions Associates Provider Accreditation by BPP-UK.

For the last five sittings, Cornerstone & Luthien Advisory has tutored a total of 5,918 papers say 986 papers on average per sitting. CLA started prepared staff from BNR for CFA examinations during the December 2018 sitting and achieved 54% pass rate.

CLA Capacity and Experience
The institute has a dynamic team committed to multicultural learning, coupled with excellent links to progressive institutions of higher learning at both local and international levels. CLA has a conducive student friendly environment; mixed student community comprised of both local and overseas students, mature students studying either as part time or full time basis. It has a flexible timetable that is customized to suit the ever-dynamic student and corporate training needs respectively. We have experience in teaching and prepared BNR staff for CFA examination in 2018 where we achieved a pass rate of 58%.
Through partnership with group companies CLA has the necessary capacity and expertise to train accounting and finance professional courses and execute other advisory related assignments. In addition to sponsored students, CLA also admits self-sponsored students. The self sponsored students constitute 30% of the current student population.
